Frequently Asked Questions
What is Emoji Link Match?
It's a classic tile-connecting puzzle (similar to Shisen-Sho / Lianliankan) where you clear pairs of identical emoji that can be joined by a line bending no more than twice.
Is it free to play?
Yes, completely free with no sign-up or installation. It runs entirely in your web browser.
How does scoring work?
Each cleared pair earns points. Clearing pairs in quick succession builds a combo multiplier, so fast play scores higher.
What if there are no moves left?
Use the Shuffle power-up to reshuffle remaining tiles. The game also auto-reshuffles when no matchable pair exists so you never get stuck.
Is my data private?
Yes. The game is fully client-side. Only the score and a nickname you choose are sent when you opt to submit to the global leaderboard.
